Some locks pick easier clockwise, others anti clockwise, but for various reasons, even when all the pins are set you can't turn the core. This is when a Plug Spinner comes into use. It whips the core the other way, but at such a speed, the pins don't fall back into the core, meaning you don't have to pick it all over again. Nice!
