For Single Pin Picking, you can actually find the right tension for the lock you're picking, by using the measured gradients by raking it first:

• Insert wrench
• Apply average tension
• Rake lock
• Loosen tension
• If you hear pins click back into place, tension is correct
• If no pins click into place, tension is to hard, try again with less tension
• When correct tension is located, pick lock at that tension

 

These ingenious tension wrenches can be used for all manner of lock picking tools and techniques but especially lend themselves to highly-kinetic practices such as Raking and Electric pick guns. 

Because these wrenches have two prongs, and the handling is so solid, using high-powered Electric Pick Guns and fast moving rakes is a dream, since you will not be fiddling around with a standard wrench every time it comes out, leaving you free to get on with the real job of opening the lock.
